Hey! How is everyone doing? Did everyone enjoy their Thanksgiving?
I sure did! I was so excited to see my family and eat lots of yummy food! Last year, REI decided to close their doors and #OptOutside so everyone can go out and enjoy the outdoors. This year, I was able to get outside a lot a travel so many places. Last week I was in Atlanta, Georgia to visit my two best friends, it was a blast and we did so much! I flew down Thursday and drove back with friends Monday. An hour flight down and a 13 hour drive back! I am surely glad I was able to visit them. My favorite part of the trip was getting to hike outside of the city, called Stone Mountain State Park, and also seeing the Patagonia store!
Have you gone anywhere worth while?
I'm glad you enjoyed your Holiday! Thanksgiving is a wonderful time to spend with family. I love that REI decided to close their doors. I left Thanksgiving dinner with my family at 4:30 to work a 12 hour overnight shift at Dunhams. It was terrible! Georgia is absolutely beautiful I'm jealous you got to go! Next time you're there you should totally check out Tallulah Gorge it's breathtaking.
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I'm so jealous of all the places you get to travel to!! Your pictures say a thousand words seriously they all look amazing! I can't believe you had to drive 13 hours though that's so long! How excited were you to go to the Patagonia store? I know how much you love them!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you were able to enjoy your holiday! Speaking of travel and outdoor activities this past summer I went to New York City. I actually stayed right in Times Square for a few days so I was right in the middle of everything. The best outdoor aspect of the trip was I spent a day walking through central park. It was very interesting because Central Park is the only area of Manhattan that has grass, ponds, bushes, etc. It was also very entertaining to see all of the different street performers.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a great Thanksgiving! That's awesome that you were able to see your two best friends in Georgia. The only interesting place I've ever been was in Morocco in Africa. I was there for military training and pretty much saw sand for as far as the eye can see. It was a great experience, however, and I was able to go on liberty my last day there and see the ocean.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to hear that you did not jump on the bandwagon and go Black Friday shopping! This was my first year not working at a retail store during the holidays! I do not regret it one bit! I love that you travel so much! There's nothing better than exploring this beautiful world with our friends!
